In the Heart of the Valley

The Lacovino Winery is located in the heart of the valley of Eurotas River in Vlachioti, Laconia. It is a state-of-the-art wine-making establishment, specially designed to harmoniously blend in with its natural surroundings.

The winery comprises four distinct sections. Level 1 features a reception and wine-tasting area. Level 1+ houses the wine-making and bottling facilities. Level 2 features the chemistry lab, as well as the administrative offices and a conference room. Level 1- houses the underground aging cellar and storage facilities.

Our winery features stainless steel tanks for controlled fermentation, bladder (pneumatic) presses, special tanks for pre-fermentation juice extraction for white wines, red wine makers with automatic cooling and stabilization systems.

The winery adheres to a closely monitored wine-making process, which is certified in accordance with the ISO 2200:2005 food safety standard.

Laconia – The Legendary Fatherland of Menelaos and Leonidas.Tracing its history back in the depths of time, this land boasts Mount Taygetos, the highest mountain in the Peloponnese; the medieval fortresses of enchanting Monemvasia and Mystras; the majestic tower houses of Mani.
And it is from that rich history that Lacovino Winery draws its inspiration.
